¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à This standard which is fully equivalent to ¡°Cloud Data Management Interface (CDMI¢â) version 1.1.1¡± defines the functional interfaces used to create, retrieve, update, and delete data in cloud storage. In this interface, the client identifies the capabilities of cloud storage, manage the data object in a container, and metadata is able to set the container and individual objects in the container.
The standard consists of four sections describing CDMI Preamble in section 1, Basic Cloud Storage in section 2, CDMI Core in section3, CDMI Advanced in section 4 and the details are as below.
- Section 1 : From 1st~5th paragraphs, defines the scope of this document, lists the normative references in seconds, provides terminology, describes the conventions used in presenting the interfaces and the typographical conventions used in this documents and provides a brief overviews of cloud storage and details for the operations.
- Section 2 : Provides the normative standards of data object and container object resource operations using HTTP in 6th and 7th paragraphs each.
- Section 3 : Provides the normative standard of data object and container object resource operations using CDMI in 8th and 9th paragraphs each.
- Section 4 : From 10th~12th paragraphs provide the normative standards of domain, queue and capability object resource operations using CDMI. Also discusses how virtual machines in the cloud computing environment can use the exported protocols from CDMI containers, how snapshots are accessed under CDMI containers and serialization and deserialization including import and export of serialized data under CDMI in 13th ~15th paragraphs. 16th paragraph provides the normative standard of the metadata used in the interface and 17th describes the optional retention management disciplines to be implemented into the system management functions. Scope specification for JSON objects and a standardized mechanism to define subsets of CDMI object contents described in 18th and 19th paragraph. 20th describes CDMI functional logging for object functions, security events, data management events, and queues. Finally, 21st and 22nd paragraphs describe on notification queues and query queues related to how CDMI clients may efficiently discover what changes have occurred to the system and what content matches a given set of metadata query criteria or full-content search criteria
