¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à 1. The Purpose of Standard
This proposal is based on the ZigBee Alliance standard document for improving the performance and clarifying the technical specifications started from the ZigBeeTM Alliance. ZigBeeTM Alliance accepts PHY/MAC layer specifications from IEEE WPAN, and proposes standards for network layer, application support sublayer, application framework, ZigBee device object, application layer. And the various ZigBee applications are standardized by defining specifications of several devices on application layer.
This standard proposes the specifications of ZigBee Safety Monitoring Profile and defines the interfaces for detecing several types of gases and status of door lock, and the detailed specificiations of ZigBee stacks follow the standard from ZigBee Alliance

2. The summary of contents
Main contents of the proposal describe the relationship of speicifications between ZigBee devices for the Safety Monitoring such as gases and door lock. The device description and cluster model including interfaces are defined similar to other ZigBee device descriptions, and the detailed descriptions are referred to the device descriptions in ZigBee device profile stage 2.

3. Applicable fields of industry and its effect
By defining ZigBeeTM Alliance specifications which can be applied NWK (Network) and Application layer of ZigBee product from standardization of ZigBee Alliance, many applications such as customer appliances, industrial control, and building automation will contribute to motivate the need for the industries and customers.
