¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à The standard relates to the data plane of DetNet where MPLS (DetNet) nodes are interconnected by a IEEE 802.1 TSN sub-network. It does not define new procedures or processes. Whenever this document makes statements or recommendations, these are taken from normative text in the referenced RFCs.
The standard describes the concept in section 1 and defines terminology in section 2. It describes the DetNet MPLS data plane overview in section 3 and describes the operation of DetNet MPLS over IEEE 802.1 TSN sub-networks in section 4.
It summarizes the set of management and control plane information sets required to configure DetNet MPLS over TSN sub-network in section 5 and describes the specific security considerations for DetNet MPLS over TSN sub-network in section 6. References are listed in section 8.
There are no requirements defined for TSN-unaware MPLS DetNet nodes in this standard. Mappings between DetNet and TSN management and control planes and service protection interworking are out of scope in this standard.
