| ¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | With the maturity of on-device AI technology, it has become possible to apply artificial intelligence (AI) agent capabilities to IoT devices, edge nodes, and cloud platforms. Accordingly, this Standard specifies methods for continuous AI model updates and real-time inference/prediction to reflect dynamic requirements in IoT and smart city environments, and presents a functional architecture to enable device–edge–cloud collaboration. In other words, this Standard provides a reference architecture that ensures interoperability among heterogeneous devices and systems, enabling secure and efficient data exchange, distributed learning, and inference services. In particular, it defines the roles and responsibilities of each entity (device, edge, and cloud), and provides security and access control mechanisms that take into account data sovereignty and privacy protection, thereby ensuring the scalability and reliability of AI-based services. | ||
