This standard includes a dynamic tag system that responds to real-time situational changes, a cross-platform compatible tag information exchange system, and continuous safety monitoring methods that reflect user reports and community feedback. It also defines specialized risk factor evaluation criteria for entertainment types such as games, social activities, virtual events, and virtual experiences, along with additional safety indicators tailored to the characteristics of each type.
This standard enables stakeholders including metaverse platform operators, content developers, parents and guardians, and educational institutions to objectively assess the safety of metaverse entertainment content and create appropriate usage environments, thereby contributing to the spread of safe metaverse usage culture and user protection. In particular, through an expandable tag system and continuous update processes that can respond to the rapid development of metaverse technology and the emergence of new risk factors, it supports the securing of safety in metaverse entertainment environments and the creation of a healthy ecosystem.
