| ¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à | This Recommendation defines the architecture of a 50 Gbit/s time-division multiplexing passive optical network (TDM-PON) and describes various components such as optical path loss classes and fibre differential distance categories. The TDM-PON has a layered structure, and the Physical Medium Dependent (PMD) layer requirements are specified to support 50G-PON. The ONU (Optical Network Unit) and OLT (Optical Line Terminal) in a 50G-PON are designed to operate under various wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) environments. The upstream transmission includes descriptions of physical layer overhead and various signal processing techniques. The appendices provide relationships among parameters affecting optical signal quality, along with the required physical layer measurements for optical layer supervision. Additionally, the allocation of overhead time for upstream transmission and the interrelationships among optical interface parameters for a 49.7664 Gbit/s downstream are described. | ||
