The health monitor helps to isolate faults and to prevent failures from propagating. The components of the health monitor are contained within the following software elements : Core O/S, Application Partitions, and System Partitions.
In the standard, it describes error levels in accordance with the detected error and the state of the system, and also reponse and recover actions for each error level when faults or failure are detected by system elements such as hardware, core software and application.
