¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à This standard includes technical corrections and clarifications IEEE 802.11 standard for wireless local area networks. Specifically, it incorporates the following amendments published after 802.11-2012 revision:
- 802.11ae-2012: Prioritization of Management Frames (Amendment 1)
- 802.11aa-2012: MAC Enhancements for Robust Audio Video Streaming (Amendment 2)
- 802.11ad-2012: Enhancements for Very High Throughput in the 60 GHz Band (Amendment 3)
- 802.11ac-2013: Enhancements for Very High Throughput for Operation in Bands below 6 GHz (Amendment 4)
- 802.11af-2013: Television White Spaces (TVWS) Operation (Amendment 5)

In addition, this revision specifies technical corrections and clarifications to IEEE 802.11 as well as enhancements to the existing medium access control (MAC) and physical layer (PHY) functions. In addition, this revision removes some features previously marked as obsolete and adds new indications of other obsolete features.
