| 한글내용요약 | 정보 검색(information retrieval)이란 문헌에서 정보를 찾는 기술로, 문헌 자체에서 찾을 수도 있고, 문헌을 기술하는 메타데이터(metadata)에서 찾을 수도 있으며, 개별 데이터베이스(database)나 월드 와이드 웹(World Wide Web)과 같은 하이퍼텍스트(hypertext)로 연결된 데이터베이스에서의 검색을 포함한다. 시장에 공급되고 있는 정보검색엔진의 품질을 객관적이고 정량적으로 명세하고 평가하기 위하여, 객관적인 근거를 제시할 수 있는 지표로서 평가 항목들이 정의되어야 한다. 본 표준은 정보검색엔진의 품질 평가를 위한 기본틀로서 품질평가 모형과 평가 항목을 제시한다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | Information retrieval is a technology for searching the information on documents, for which searching on documents itself, searching on metadata or searching on each database. And it includes retrieval on the database linking hypertext such as world wide web. In order to specify and evaluate the quality of information retrieval engine objectively and quantitatively, we need to define measurement which could play the role of objective indicators. This standard provides both the measurement framework and measurement that can be used to measure the quality of information retrieval engine. | ||
