이 표준은 공간적 제약을 가진 국선단자함 내부에 다양한 방송통신서비스 제공을 위한 통신설비들을 효율적으로 배치하고 설치하는 방법을 제시하는 것으로, 이를 위해 5 절에서는 국선단자함의 설치를 위한 기본적인 고려 사항, 6 절에서 국선단자함에 수용되는 통신설비의 종류와 기능 및 각각의 역할을 기술한다. 7 절에서는 제공되는 방송통신서비스의 종류에 따라 다음과 같이 5가지로 대표되는 국선단자함 내 통신설비의 설치 방법의 유형을 제시한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | The telecommunication enclosure refers to a communication distribution box in which the facilities of a telecommunication service provider to provide ICT services and user facilities to use them are accommodated. Telecommunication facilities for providing various ICT services must be efficiently accommodated in a telecommunication enclosure with space constraints. Therefore, in this standard the basic requirements for the installation of the telecommunication enclosure, the types and function requirements of the telecommunication facilities accommodated in the telecommunication enclosure, and the following five types of methods to installation of telecommunication facilities inside the telecommunication enclosure are proposed. | ||
