| 한글내용요약 | 본 표준은 장애인과 노인들의 웹 콘텐츠 사용성을 높이기 위한 기술적 규격을 포함하고 있다.
본 표준이 주로 장애인과 노인들이 웹을 사용하는 과정에서 겪는 어려움을 해소하기 위한 방법을 제시하고 있기 때문에 본 표준을 준수하는 웹 사이트는 모든 사용자에게 편리함을 느끼게 할 것이다. 특히 장애인과 노인의 웹 사용성이 크게 향상될 것이다. 지침의 요구 사항을 만족하기 위해서 특정 기술을 사용해야 하는 경우를 지양하였다. 그러므로 본 표준은 앞으로 개발될 기술도 수용이 가능할 것이다. 본 표준은 3가지 원칙(Principle)과 26가지 지침(Guideline)으로 구성되어 있으며, 각 지침은 중요도, 해당 지침이 필요한 장애 유형, 장애 유형별 지침에 대한 추가 설명 및 관련 표준의 순서로 기술하였다. |

| 영문내용요약 | This standard contains technical specifications in order to make web content usable for persons with disabilities and senior citizens while accessing the web site appropriately.
Any web site that is developed conforming this standard will give comfort to people for navigating the website. Since this standards specify the consistency in design and navigation of the website, any web site that conforms this standard as well as well-known web content accessibility guidelines is usable and navigable to persons with disabilities and senior citizens more comfortable than without conforming this standard. This standard tries to exclude specific technologies and/or current products to conform the standard. Therefore this standard is open to any technologies and products of the future. This standard consist of 3 principles 26 guidelines. Every guideline describes requirement, one of three priorities, types of disabilities, the necessity and references. |
