Regarding the wiring connecting the video and audio devices that are using RJ45 interface for RS485 communication method for Home Network, the standards are designed to define the signals specifically usable for the 8 pins of RJ45 and also to define the standards to secure the compatibility for any company, regardless of manufacturers and installers, to utilize the RJ45 lines already installed.
