This document specifies a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCPv4 and DHCPv6) containing the civic location of the client. The Location Configuration Information includes information about country, administrative units such as states, provinces, and cities as well as street addresses, postal community name, and building information. And this document describes the DHCP format and fields for location configuration information. It also suggests security method for DHCP message.
