¿µ¹® ³»¿ë¿ä¾à This standard adds the Clause 161 through Clause 163, Annex 120G, Annex 162A through Annex 162D, Annex 163A, and Annex 163B to IEEE Std 802.3-2022.
Clause 161 specifies a Reed-Solomon forward error correction codeword-interleaved (RS-FEC-Int) sublayer for some 100GBASE-P PHYs and describes a position of RS-FEC-Int FEC in the 100GBASE-P sublayers, FEC service interface, compatibility with the PMA sublayer, delay constraints, and RS-FEC-Int MDIO function mapping.
Clause 163 specifies the 100GBASE-KR1 PMD, the 200GBASE-KR2 PMD, the 400GBASE-KR4 PMD, and the baseband medium. The specifications for the three PMDs are similar, except for the number of lanes and associated parameters and the MDI.
Added Annex specifies the functional and electrical characteristics of the chip-to-module 100Gb/s one-lane Attachment Unit Interface (100GAUI-1 C2M), 200Gb/s two-lane Attachment Unit Interface (200GAUI-2 C2M), and 400Gb/s four-lane Attachment Unit Interface (400GAUI-4 C2M). It also specifies the Media Dependent Interface (MDI) for 100GBASE-CR1, 200GBASE-CR2, and 400GBASE-CR4, as well as the measurement methods and test points for backplane and chip-to-chip interfaces.
