The Technical Report is for ensuring interworking between 5G MEC equipment or solutions developed based on the 3GPP and the ETSI standard and includes the following.
Chapter 5 explains the background and necessity of this standards. Chapter 6 classifies 5G MEC functional structures into two categories: EDGEAPPbased and DNS-based, and describes each. Section 6.1 describes functional blocks, interfaces, and basic procedures for 3GPP EDGEAPP-based functional architecture. Section 6.2 describes functional blocks, interfaces, and basic procedures for functional architecture using EASDF and DNS. In the appendix, information for reference related to the 3GPP and ETSI integrated architecture is described. |
