The Technical Report describes a particular method for terminal firmware upgrade over the air of differentiated wireless channel access based low power wide area network. It includes registering the firmware of the terminal for upgrading to the network controller, notifying both the terminal and the RF gateway of the firmware upgrade commencement, simultaneous transmission of firmware data from the RF gateway to multiple terminals, and checking the firmware version and upgrade status of the terminal.
