The technical report suggest guidelines for conformance test of the internet media subtitle and closed caption. For this, the report includes the introduction of conventional test methods and the suggestion of new test methods.
The report organized as four main parts. The first is way to test IMSC1 and IMSC1.1 syntax using IMSC test-suit, and next part is way to test processing SDR subtitles on HDR video contents. The third part is about tunneling test DTV subtitles defined in SMPTE-TT, and the last is additional test methods according to the requirements of the domestic broadcasting for subtitles and closed captions. |
