This specification defines the two methods for accessing public networks (Internet) and private networks (intranets) : Simple IP
and Mobile IP. It describes the required Quality of Service,Security, Mobility Management,and Accounting capabilities needed to sypport both methods. IETF protocols are widely employed whenever possible to minimize the number of new protocols required and to maximize the utilization of well accepted standards. |
