소셜 활동 게재(ActivityPub) 표준은 사용자들의 소셜 활동을 웹상에 게재하고 게재된 데이터들이 서비스 간에 상호 연동되기 위한 탈중앙화 웹 기반의 API를 제공한다. 따라서 클라이언트가 소셜 활동 데이터를 서버에 전달하거나 서버와의 동기화를 위한 클라이언트와 서버 간 API를 제공할 뿐만 아니라 각각의 서비스 혹은 서버 사이에서도 데이터가 전달되고 특정 알림(notification) 역시 전달되도록 연동형 서버 간 API를 제공한다. |

ActivityPub provides de-centralized web API to publish user’s social data on the web and to interoperate between different services. To fulfill that purpose, ActivityPub provides not only client-server API to send data to the server and to sync the data between server and client but also federated server-server API to deliver the data and notifications between various servers.
