본 표준에서는 사용자 인증을 위한 RADIUS와 Diameter 인증서버 간에 EAP-Request/Answer 메시지와 RADIUS Access-Request/Answer 메시지 변환 규격을 기술한다. 제 5장에서는 RADIUS-Diameter 프로토콜 변환 에이전트의 개요와 주요 요구사항을 정리하였으며, 6장에서는 RADIUS메시지를 Diameter 메시지로 변환하는 규칙을, 7장은 Diameter 메시지에 대한 RADIUS 메시지의 변환 규칙을, 8장에서는 과금 메시지 변환가이드라인을 설명한다. 9장부터는 상기 변환 가이드라인에 대한 보충설명으로 상호운용을 위한 AVP, RADIUS Vendor Specific Attribute 및 기타 사항에 대하여 기술하였으며, 부록에서는 메시지 변환 시 부가적으로 참조할 수 있는 정보들에 대하여 언급하였다. |

This standard describes the protocol translation specification about Diameter and RADIUS messages for the user authentication. In chapter 5, we say briefly the outline and requirements of RADIUS-Diameter translation agent. In chapter 6 and 7, we describe the translation rules in the RADIUS client-Diameter server environment and Diameter client-RADIUS server. Also, the rule of accounting message is in chapter 8. In addition to the translation rules, AVP for inter-operability, RADIUS Vendor Specific Attribute and others are described in chapter 9, 10, 11. In Appendix, there is some reference information for the translation such as Diameter and RADIUS message specification.
