This standard specifies procedures, metrics, and reports for quantitatively and objectively evaluating the performance of the algorithms to detect and recognize human or target objects from video captured by a remotely installed surveillance camera. Also, in order to increase the international interoperability of the specified procedures and metrics, this standard describes the requirements of the metrics and procedures that are used for performance testing and evaluation.
