The standard describes the access control procedures and access control policy distribution in large-scale IoT environments for each type of device. The description includes the definition of access control policies that will be managed in each IoT layer(devices/gateways/servers), the classification of IoT device types according to the possession of access control policy within device, the access control procedures in each classified device type and the distribution methods of access control policy in those procedures.
