The standard defines the data interchange formats for the storage and transmission of ECG and PPG feature information required for personal authentication for electrocardiogram and photoplethysmogram extracted from a bio-signal sensor. Furthermore, the standard describes the specifications of the data format of the user biometric information used in ECG and PPG identification algorithms and transmission programs.
