The standard defines the data requirements necessary to effectively provide pest and disease management services for open-field agriculture and proposes a reference data model based on these requirements.
Section 5 outlines the need and purpose of frequently occurring pest and disease management services in open-field agriculture. Section 6 defines the data items required for these services and the requirements for each data item. Section 7 then proposes a reference data model based on these requirements. Finally, the appendix provides a use case for the development of early pest and disease prediction technology in domestic open-field fruit farming.
