기 위하여 작성되었다. 등록부 정보를 포함한 모든 시스템은 전체적으로 등록부(디렉토리)라 부른다. 등록부가 가지는 정보인 등록부 정보 베이스(DIB: Directory Information Base)는 응용객체, 인간, 터미날, 분산리스트 등의 객체간 통신을 촉진시키는데 사용된다. 이 표준은 디렉토리 서비스를 향상시키기 위해 DSA간에 제공되는 복제 기능을 정의한다. |

| 영문 내용요약 | This Standard has been developed to facilitate the interconnection of information processing systems to provide directory services. The set of all such systems, together with the directory information which they hold, can be viewed as an integrated whole, called the Directory. The information held by the Directory, collectively known as the Directory Information Base(DIB), is typically used to facilitate communication between, with or about objects such as application entities, people, terminals, and distributuib lists. This Standard defines the Replication capabilities provided by DSAs to improve the level of service to Directory- users. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
