URC 원격 로봇 응용은 로봇의 활용하여 제작된 응용으로 일반적인 로봇 응용과 달리 그 수행 위치가 로봇 내부로 한정되는 것이 아니라, 로봇 외부에서도 수행되는 응용을 일컫는다. URC 원격 로봇 응용 서버는 URC 로봇 응용 작성자가 URC 로봇 클라이언트와 RUPI 서버가 제공하는 여러가지 기능을 활용하여 사용자 서비스를 구현할 수 있도록 응용 프로그래밍 인터페이스(API)를 제공해야 한다.

URC remote robot application runtime framework is called execution application in robot external. This system has not restricted execution position as a robot internal. URC remote robot application runtime framework server has to support application programming interface (API) for application. So, robot application writer implement with a robot user service. As an URC robot client application execute robot server, this system support application runtime framework and manage life-cycle about URC Robot application.
