The information in this standard should be sufficient for a provider or consumer of this data to identify unambiguously the classes, properties, methods, and values that are instantiated and manipulated to identify and query the inventory of installed BIOS, firmware, drivers, and related software in a managed system. This profile also describes the Common Information Model (CIM) schema elements required to represent the software that can be installed on a managed system.
