본 표준은, 국제조명위원회(CIE)의 표준 규격인 ISO/CIE D50(태양광)의 조명 하에서 관측 시야각 2°에서 분광광도계(spectrophotometer)를 이용하여 자연계에서 85,900종의 물체의 컬러를 측색한 자료를 분석한 것이다. 이중에서 32,487종의 컬러는 꽃잎, 잎사귀 등을 직접 측색한 데이터이고, 나머지 53,413종의 컬러는 ISO가 공개한 측색 자료이다.

영문 내용요약

This standard is the result obtained through the analysis of the data measured colors of 85,900 kinds of materials in real world using a spectrophotometer under ISO/CIE D50 and 2° observer conditions which are the ISO/CIE standards. Among them 32,487 kinds of colors are data directly measured the colors of flowers, leaves, and so on, and the other 53,413 kinds of colors are also measured colors which the ISO opened.
