| 한글 내용요약 | 본 문서는 IPTV 서비스의 시나리오를 정의하는데 있어서 각 서비스에 대해 단말, 네트워크 사업자, 서비스 사업자 및 콘텐츠 사업자에서 동작하는 기능과 동작 이후의 절차를 정의하고 있다. 그리고 IPTV 서비스에서 제공될 수 있는 다양한 기능과 서비스등에 대해 정의를 기술하고 있다.
IPTV 서비스는 4가지로 분류하였는데 먼저 콘텐츠 분배 서비스로 기존의 방송 서비스에서 인터넷 특성인 양방향 기능이 추가되어 파생될 수 있는 다양한 서비스들 정의하는데 IPTV 서비스 시나리오에서는 방송 서비스, VoD 서비스, 광고 서비스, place-shift, time-shift 서비스, 자막, 수화와 같은 부가 콘텐츠의 정의와 기능 및 시나리오에 대해 정의한다. 두 번째는 상호작용 서비스로 이용자가 원하는 정보를 제공하는 IPTV를 통하여 기능으로 정보 서비스, 경제관련 서비스, 오락 서비스, 교육서비스, 의학 서비스, 모니터링 서비스, 포탈 서비스등에 대한 시나리오를 정의한다. 세 번째는 통신서비스로 IPTV는 인터넷을 활용하기 때문에 인터넷에서 제공하는 E-mail, 메신져, VoIP등에 대한 서비스에 대해 설명한다. 네 번째는 기타 서비스로 IPTV로 비상 통신, 긴급 통신등과 같은 공공 서비스, UCC, 호스팅 서비스, 프레전스 서비스등이 해당된다. 본 문서의 끝에서는 IPTV 서비스에서 제공할 수 있는 다양한 유형이 과금 방식을 정의한다. 본 문서는 앞서 설명한 내용을 바탕으로 그 절차가 상세히 정의된다. |

This document specifies IPTV service scenario (use case) by defining function and procedures in the IPTV end-user, network provider, service provider, and content provider for each IPTV service. This document also defines various functions and services that are provided through IPTV services.
IPTV services are classified into four groups. First, distributed content services defines variant of broadcast services that can be provided with the bidirectional characteristics of Internet. Such services include on-demand services, advertising services, time-shifting and place-shifting services, and supplementary content. Second, the interactive services defines IPTV services that provide user-specific information services which includes commerce services, education services, medical services, monitoring services, and portal services. Third, the communication service defines Internet-based service including E-mail, messenger, VoIP service which is provided through the IPTV. Fourth, other miscellaneous services include public services, hosting services, and presence services. This document concludes with various payment methods that can be used in IPTV services. |
