댁내에서는 다수의 다양한 기기들이 사용됨에 따라 각 기기별로 사용하는 전력 정보를 획득하여 관리해야 할 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 각 전원 콘센트에 소형의 전력 측정 모듈을 추가하여, 연결 기기의 전력 소비 정보를 획득한다. 이러한 정보는 네트워크 방식에 무관하게 상위 계층에서 통합하여 관리할 수 있도록 하는 게 바람직하다. 전력 정보의 통합 관리를 위해서는 전력 측정 모듈이 누적전력, 순시전력, 전압, 전류, 역률 등의 정보를 댁내의 통합 관리 서버에 전달하여야 한다. 따라서 제안하는 표준은 상기와 같은 전력 정보를 통합 관리 서버와 각 전력 측정 모듈 간에 전달하는 인터페이스 표준이다.

영문 내용요약

As a number of home devices are used in home, the necessity increases that electric power information of each device should be monitored and managed. Each power outlet are installed with a small electric power meter module to measure the power consumption information of plugged devices. It is desirable to integrate and manage the acquired information in the upper layer regardless of the kind of network. To manage the power information, the power meter module should measure accumulated power, instantaneous power, voltage, current and power factor and send those measured information to the managing server. Therefore, the proposed standard defines the interface to transfer power information of each power outlet to the managing server.
