¿µ¹® ³»¿ë¿ä¾à This standard specifies the architecture and processing of ESP header for providing the confidentiality of Internet protocol packets. ESP header introduced in this standard can be used in both IPv4 and IPv6 network protocol layers. This standard specifies that ESP is used to provide security services such as confidentiality, data origin authentication, connectionless integrity, an anti-replay service (a form of partial sequence integrity), and limited traffic flow confidentiality in Internet Protocol layer. And this standard specifies the processing of ESP header(that is encryption and decryption of IP packets) and the architecture of re-created IP packet after header processing with in methods of transport and tunnel mode respectively.
