By utilizing a simulation environment that emulates actual grid conditions, the standard enables the replacement or supplementation of physical testing, thereby reducing testing costs while effectively verifying the stability, reliability, and interoperability of the facilities. The standard encompasses the components, procedures, and criteria for performance evaluation—including energy facilities, virtual models, and grid simulation systems—and specifies quantitative criteria for synchronization parameters such as frequency, voltage, and phase angle, as well as for disconnection times.
