본 기술보고서는 표준 개발 기구들을 비롯하여 학계(예: 대학), NGO 등과 같은 다른 분야의 기구들에 의해 착수된 ICT와 기후 변화에 대한 현재의 연구들을 검토한다. 이러한 그룹들이 중점을 두고 있는 활동들은 표준 세부작업에 국한되지 않고 라벨링, 방법론 그리고 관련 활동들을 포괄하고 있다. 본 기술보고서는 기후변화에 미치는 ICT의 영향력을 파악하기 위한 연구를 현재 진행 중이거나 그와 관련하여 이미 상당한 공헌을 한 기구들의 자료를 간략히 검토한다. 또한 이러한 자료를 바탕으로, 충분한 관심을 받지 못하는 이슈들에 대한 격차를 확인하고 충분히 개발되지 못한 필수 도구들과 측정법을 알아본다.

영문 내용요약

This technical report reviews the current work on ICTs and climate change that is being undertaken by standards development organizations and other domain oriented bodies such as academic institutions (i.e. Universities), NGOs, and other groups. The main focus of these groups is not limited to standards elaboration but would also cover labelling, methodologies, and related activities. This technical report briefly reviews material from organizations currently working, or which have already significantly contributed, with regard to the effort on the impact of ICTs on Climate Change. Based on this material, this technical report also identifies GAPS for issues not receiving sufficient attention, and recognizes required tools and metrics that are not sufficiently well-developed.
