¿µ¹® ³»¿ë¿ä¾à Silicon photonics waveguide mode size converter is an essential element to use in optical coupling between optical fiber and silicon photonics devices. The large difference of optical mode size and refractive index between silicon photonics waveguide and single mode optical fiber will cause large optical loss. Therefore, efficient optical coupling technology between silicon photonic waveguide and single mode optical fiber is the key technology. This standard establishes characterization method of silicon photonics waveguide mode size converter.
