| 한글 내용요약 | 본 표준은 발향 장치 설계 시에 필요한 기본 조건을 발향 장치 설계자에게 제공하고, 실감 콘텐츠 설계자들이 발향 장치를 사용하여 현실감을 극대화하게 할 수 있는 데이터 구조와 포맷을 정의한다. 이를 통하여 실감 콘텐츠의 설계에 있어 공통적이며 호환성이 있는 후각 표현 상호작용을 가능하게 한다.
이를 위하여 본 표준은 크게 두 부분으로 나뉜다. 첫째, 발향 장치의 기능 및 제원을 위한 정보의 정의(발향 장치로부터 사용자의 컴퓨터로 전송된다.) 둘째, 발향 요구를 위한 정보의 정의(사용자 컴퓨터에서 발향 장치로 전송된다.) 정의된 정보는 실감 콘텐츠와의 적절하게 동기화되고 실감 콘텐츠의 감성과 일치화시키기 위하여 향의 농도, 향의 지속성, 발향 속도 및 발향 지속 시간 등을 포함한다. |

This standard provides basic design conditions whose plan to make scent generator, and to define meta-data for them to maximize realistic content. These are to give possibilities for designing common and compatible olfactory interaction.
The standard can be divided into two parts. - The definition of information for describing the function and specification of scent display devices.(This information is transmitted from scent display device to user computer.) - The definition of information for request of scent display(This information is transmitted from user computer to scent display device) The defined information includes scent intensity, scent persistence, velocity of scent display and duration time of scent display in order to suitably synchronize a scent with its content and to achieve emotional harmony between a scent and its content. |
