According to the standard procedure, it has to be defined the common and compatible mutual interface method and reference model for stimulus and reaction between the contents and olfaction recognition system.

The standard can be defined for the mutual interaction between the contents and olfactionsystem as follows:
- Smell space definition generated by the olfaction recognition system and contents
- Reference model for the mutual interaction between the contents and olfaction recognition system
- Data processing and flow for reference model operation
- Configuration of device information datasheet having sensor¡¯s electrical and physical characterstics
- Data format for information transfer and operation between the contents and olfaction recognition system
- Stack format for device information service
- Stack format for contents information service
- Definition for communication module and interface to communicate between the contents and olfaction recognition system
