이 표준은 건설정보인 BIM(Building Information Modeling)의 표준 포맷인 IFC 데이터와 공간정보 표준 포맷인 CityGML 간의 데이터 변환을 통하여 디지털 국토정보 플랫폼에서 건설정보를 구축·활용하기 위한 구조화된 데이터 모델을 정의한다. 이를 위하여 표준에서 사용하는 건설정보와 공간정보의 변환의 개념과 필요성을 제시하고, 시맨틱(Semantic), 기하(Geometry), 속성(Attribute) 관점에서 건설정보–공간정보 변환 모델 LoD(Level of Detail) 모델을 구성하여 정의한다. |

This standard defines a structured data model for building, utilizing, and sharing construction information within the Digital Land Information Platform. This is achieved by converting data between Building Information Modeling (BIM), using its standard format IFC data, and Geographic Information System (GIS) using the standard format CityGML. To this end, the standard presents the concept and necessity of converting construction and geospatial information. It also structures and defines the BIM-GIS conversion model and the LoD (Level of Detail) model from the perspectives of semantics, geometry, and attributes.
