긴급구조 상황 발생 시, 현장 출동한 구조요원(탐색자)이 구조대상자(실종자 또는 피해자) 위치를 최종 확인하고, 구조대상자를 구조하는 서비스를 제공하는 이동통신 신호 기반 정밀측위 시스템은 ‘타깃 단말기’에 설정되는 ‘측위용 호’의 무선 상향링크 신호를 이용한다. 이를 위해서 이동통신 시스템은 ‘측위용 호’ 설정 요청에 대한 처리와 ‘측위용 호’의 무선 상향링크 신호 식별을 위한 정보를 제공하는 처리가 필요하다. 본 표준에서는 이를 지원하기 위한 ‘이동통신 시스템’ 내부 구성 요소 간의 인터페이스와 프로토콜을 규정한다. |

Mobile radio signal based precise positioning system provides the location information of a man in distress to the first responders after an emergency call is reported to an emergency rescue center. This system is based on the measure uplink signal of ‘positioning call’ on the target mobile phone(‘target terminal’) of a man in distress. The system requires procedures to set up ‘positioning call’ on ‘target terminal’ and provide channel configuration information to the ‘radio signal detector’. This standard describes the interfaces and protocols for these operations in the mobile communication system.
