This technical report describes the overview of urban air traffic and service areas. In addition, the components of the urban air transport ecosystem are described as follows:
PAV as a means of transport in a three-dimensional air environment, such as a vehicle in two-dimensional road environment; PAV takeoff and landing facilities; Platforms and infrastructure, which are infrastructures including refueling and parking facilities for resources for air traffic flow control; the urban air traffic management, including air traffic control system and the altitude management system for the safe operation in the urban area; the PAV aircraft and infrastructure; communications with UTM including 5G, the navigation, and the surveillance; certifications and systems related to authorization of PAV, stable operations, and the management. |
