| 영문 내용요약 |
This technical report introduces the development of high-quality 3D satellite test broadcasting, which has been conducted in Korea since Oct. 2010, and its related technical specifications. Also, this report provides the current status of international stereoscopic 3D broadcasting services including commercial as well as test or experimental broadcastings, and various efforts for the standardization of 3D broadcasting technologies in ITU (International Telecommunications Union), DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) and ISO/IEC MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group), etc. Based on these considerations, the report expects the future development of stereoscopic 3D broadcasting service and provides the conclusion on the time and method of Korean 3D satellite broadcasting service standardization.
