This standard is one of a series of standards that specify the ISDN User Part of Signalling System No.7. ISUP provides the signalling functions required to support basic bearer service and supplemantary services for voice and non-voice applications in an integrated services digital networks. This standard describes the ISUP signalling procedures for set-up and clear down of ISDN connections. The annex contains the description of the signalling procedures described in this standard in the form of state transition diagrams.
