This standard specifies the requirement for implementation of functions for Intelligent Network Application Protocol(INAP) Signalling System No.7 which defines services and service functions. It supports interactions between the following four functional entities as defined in the IN Functional Model: service switching Function(SSF), Service Control Function(SCF), Specialized Resource Function, and Service Data Function(SDF).
