| 한글내용요약 | 이 표준은 메트로 이더넷 포럼(MEF, Metro Ethernet Forum)에서 정의된 캐리어 이더넷 서비스를 관리하는데 필요한 관리 정보 집합을 식별하고 정의하는 모든 캐리어 이더넷 관리 정보 모델을 기술한다. 이 관리 정보 모델은 특정 관리 인터페이스(예를 들면, EMS-NMS 원격 관리 인터페이스(RMI, Remote Management Interface), 소자 측면 인터페이스 등)에 대한 정보 요구사항을 정의하기 위해 적용될 기본 모델로서 역할을 수행한다.

| 영문내용요약 | This standard describes the overall Carrier Ethernet Management Information Model to identify and define the set of management information necessary to manage the Carrier Ethernet services as defined by the Metro Ethernet Forum(MEF). This Management Information Model serves as the base model that will be applied to define the information requirements for specific management interfaces (e.g., EMS-NMS, Remote Management Interface (RMI), Element-View interface, etc.).
The management functions supported by the information model in this specification include: configuration management, performance management including performance monitoring and evaluation of performance, and alarm reporting and testing in fault management. This specification does not cover all aspects of Ethernet management, only those related to the management of Carrier Ethernet services as defined by the MEF. In addition this document draws upon service requirements identified in MEF, ITU-T, and IEEE documents identified in the reference section. |
