본 표준은 지상파 DMB에만 적용되는 규정을 정의한다. 즉 지상파 DMB에서 플랫폼 독립적으로 다운로드형 애플리케이션을 수행시키기 위해서, 해당 애플리케이션과 관련된 파일 자원의 형식, 애플리케이션 다운로드 프로토콜, 다운로드된 애플리케이션에서 지상파 DMB 자원을 지칭하는 방법, 다운로드된 애플리케이션의 시그널링 방법, 이를 위한 수신 플랫폼, 방송망, 통신망, 애플리케이션 간의 구체적인 인터페이스 등을 그 적용 범위로 한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | This standard together with the common part standard of DMB MATE specifies the DMB MATE for T-DMB.
This standard specifies only terms applied to T-DMB. In order to execute downloaded applications in a platform-independent way, the scope includes the resource format related to the applications, application download protocol, the way to locate T-DMB resources within downloaded applications, the signaling method for downloaded applications, and specific interfaces among receiving platforms, broadcasting networks, communication networks, and applications for above listed functions. |
