¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à The wireless communication protocols of maritime safety networks are defined to send location data on a set time slot and time synchronization between devices guarantees for the interoperability of radio communications by the definitions of general field for GPS signal and extended field for information processing.
Wireless communication devices send location data by set period and perform the relay request from other wireless communication terminals that is outside the domain, if requested to do so. Wireless data communications equipment(for the installation on shipboard) receives signals from the wireless communication terminal and is operated by the forward and reverse protocol. Wireless data communications equipment on land receive signals from the wireless communication terminals and wireless data communications equipment on board ship and accepts for the forward protocol.
The technical requirements of maritime security and safety networks are described in chapter 4 of this document. Based on the requirements, the protocols for forward and reverse communication in chapter 5, the protocols for relay communication in chapter 6, and the operational requirements for the protocols are illustrated in chapter 7, respectively. (Basic components of system in chapter 5, protocol definitions in chapter 6, relay communication in chapter 7, and operational requirements for the protocols are illustrated in chapter 8, 9, 10, respectively.
