| 한글내용요약 | 공개SW라 함은 저작권이 존재하지만 저작권자가 소스 코드를 공개하여 누구나 자유롭게 설치, 복제, 수정, 재배포 등을 할 수 있는 자유로운 소프트웨어를 의미한다. 그러나, 현존하는 공개SW의 개수는 수십만종에 이르며 나날이 새로운 프로젝트(제품)가 생성되기 때문에 막상 사용하고자 할 경우에는 어떤 종류가 있는지, 제품의 품질이 어떠한 수준이진, 상용으로 사용하기에 문제가 없는지를 판단하기에는 상당한 어려움이 따른다. 따라서, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 표준은 공개SW의 평가를 위해 반드시 필요한 속성을 공통 속성으로 선정하고, 더 나아가 상업적 용도에 맞는 공개SW를 선별하기 위해 추가적으로 필요한 확장 속성을 제시한다. 또한 표준과 확장 속성을 정의함으로써 평가에 대한 근거와 정보를 제공하고 있다. | ||
| 영문내용요약 | One of obstacles against the use of OSS is insufficient information about OSS itself in terms of applicable categories, product maturity and differential features comparing to CSS(Closed Source Code). In order to resolve this problem, several kinds of methodologies have been developed such as OSMM(Open Source Maturity Model), QSOS(Qualification and Standardization of Open Source), OpenBRR(Open Business Readiness Rating), Qualypso and so on. However, users of OSS are still confused on choosing the right maturity model for specific usage of OSS. Therefore, this standard provides a framework which defines attributes for evaluation of maturity and applicability of OSS. The attributes are divided into two categories : basic attributes and extended attributes. The basic attributes are used for general purpose of evaluation and the extended attributes are used for special purpose such as commercial and customer oriented purposes. The steps to design the standard are to evaluate existing properties and get rid of redundancy, to validate standard properties and their weights and to assess maturity and applicability. | ||
