¿µ¹®³»¿ë¿ä¾à This document defines IETF RFC 3847, the mechanism for a IS-IS router to signal its restarting.
When an IS-IS router is restarted, its neighbors detect the restart event and cycle their adjacencies with the restarting router. The cycling of the adjacency state causes the neighbors to regenerate their LSPs. This in turn causes a temporary disruption of routes passing through the restarting router. This standard defines the mechanism in order to minimize the routing disruption. In this mechanism, a restarting router performs the signaling process for a notice of its restarting, determines when it has achieved LSP database synchronization with its neighbors, and optimizes LSP database synchronization in order to minimize transient routing disruption. So, this standard defines T1, T2, T3 Timers and Restart TLV.
