| 한글내용요약 | 병원 내 의료 영상을 전송할 수 있도록 DICOM이라는 통신규정의 표준이 정의 되어
있다. 이 표준은 MEMA(National Electrical Manufacturers Association)에서 개발되어 국 제적 표준으로 활용되고 있다. 특히 이 표준은 병원 내의 의료 영상 전송 시스템인 PACS의 통신 프로토콜 표준으로 사용된다. 하지만 DICOM은 병원 내의 LAN환경만 고려 하여 개발되었기 때문에 WAN 및 인터넷 환경에서 의료 영상을 전송하기 위해서는 새로 운 표준이 필요하다. 본 표준문서에서는 인터넷 환경에서 병원간 PACS 시스템을 통합하는 PACS-Grid의 미들웨어로서 PACS의 의료데이터를 통합하기 위한 웹서비스의 표준 인터페이스를 정의 한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine), a international standard for
medical picture format and communication in medicine was developed by MEMA(National Electrical Manufacturers Association, USA. Even it has been applied on the communication protocol in PACS, because DICOM has been developed for the system inside of a hospital, however, a new communication standard is necessary to transfer a medical image on WAN or internet. As a middleware for PACS-Grid to cooperate with inter-hospital PACSs on internet, webservice-based new standard of interfaces for the integration of medical images in PACS is defined in this document. |
