| 한글내용요약 | 멀티디바이스 연동을 위한 미디어 포맷을 정의하기 위하여 먼저 연동될 디바이스들에 대한
제어정보를 구조화 하는 것이 필요하다. 모든 디바이스들에 공통적으로 적용될 수 있는 제어 정보에 대한 레벨을 정의하고 디바이스 타입에 따른 구체적인 파라미터 정보를 정의하므로 효과적인 디바이스 확장을 가능하도록 한다. 본 표준에서는 위에서 정의된 디바이스 제어정보를 MPEG-4 System 과 ISO base media file format 을 기반으로 전달하기 위한 방법을 기술한다. 특별히 각 디바이스를 하나의 객체로 보고 각 디바이스를 제어하기 위한 시그널 정보를 오디오/비디오 데이터와 동일한 미디어 스트림의 한 종류로 간주함으로 기존 오디오/비디오 데이터와 동일한 데이터 규격으로 정의할 수 있다. MPEG-4 시스템 규격은 각 미디어 스트림에 대하여 객체로 표현이 가능하도록 설계되어 있다. 또한 ISO base media file format 은 hierarchical 한 콘테이너 구조로 정의되어 객체로 표현된 미디어 데이터를 효과적으로 다중화 할 수 있는 구조이다. 본 표준에서는 MPEG-4 시스템 규격을 확장하여 디바이스 제어 정보를 독립된 객체로 표현하는 방법과 ISO base file format 을 확장하여 이러한 디바이스 제어 정보를 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 방법에 대하여 기술한다. |

| 영문내용요약 | To define a new media format for multi-device control, we need to construct a metadata
structure containing device control information. The first phase is to design the commonly used metadata structure to every type of devices. The second phase is to define detail control parameters which are specific to each type of device. In this technical standard draft, we propose an efficient method to store this device control information in a existing media format by expanding MPEG-4 file format. The main idea of this proposal is that the device control information is one of the media stream such as audio stream or video stream. Fortunately, the MPEG-4 file system is well designed to include any type of media steam by specifying decoder specific information. Also the MPEG-4 file format has a hierarchical structure based on various information containers. In this standard draft, we explain the method to store device control information in the media format by extending MPEG-4 file system. |
