Platoon driving service means that many vehicles drive with a group or platoon. Members of the platoon follow the leader vehicle with exchange of vehicular information such as its location and speed. This driving service has an effect on efficient traffic utilization and driver’s convenience.
Furthermore, the standard provides message information for V2V/V2I communication service. |
